It's my promise.

Who’s Covey?
My father owned a bad-ass rock and roll biker bar around the corner from here in the 1970’s called The Black Stallion. He met my mom when she came to work as a cocktail waitress.
He sold the bar before I was born, but the stories were always a part of our lives. We talked about it often. My mother said she would have liked to open her own place. Since her maiden name was
Culverwell and growing up her nickname was Covey, she wanted to name it Covey’s Cove. I knew there was no room in this world for a second Black Stallion, so I decided to name it for my momma.
As she would always tell our guests at the house, “If you’re hungry, lonely, tired or broke, come on down”.
